Leon B. Dellinger and Shriley Fite Miller were married at the United Brethern Church on May 24, 1963.

They were blessed with three daughters, Christy Miller, Stephanie Dellinger, and Tamara Dellinger. Leon retired from General Motors and Shirley retired from banking in 1999. They enjoyed several years of travel with their 5th wheel until retuning home to enjoy several years with their grandchildren, Amy Pearson, Jennifer Pearson, Joshua Fraiser, Shaylee Hernandez, and great grandson, Kaleb Taylor. They lost one daughter, Christy Pearson, in October of 2022.

Leon grew up on a farm in Tipton County; Shirley grew up in Elwood and has lived there her entire life. They met at Excello where they both worked.
