Saturday morning, members of the community gathered at Harrison Square to participate in the 41st annual CARE Day.

Traditionally CARE Day has been sponsored by the Alexandria-Monroe Chamber of Commerce; however, with a transition at the Chamber, Alexandria Main Street Organization, Delta Theta Tau, and Lindsey Cuneo State Farm took over the event organization.

Individuals and teams worked throughout the downtown area to pull weeds, plant flowers, clean up and more.
