As we approach the 2024 presidential election, have you wondered if any presidential candidates ever visited Central Indiana, Madison County, and, more specifically, Monroe Township?

As many might recall, the Alexandria Park Board has been working on a project to (Phase I) dismantle, store, and then (Phase II) reassemble the historic 200+year-old Thomas-Grahame log cabin.

After 39 years of service, Jay Puterbaugh, Advertising Representative for Cherry Road Media, formerly Elwood Publishing Company, announced his retirement effective September 18, 2024.Puterbaugh began his career at Elwood Publishing Company in the circulation department in August of 1985 in the Tipton office.

Friends and family gathered at The Harrison last week to celebrate Anna Gaffinet as she prepares to celebrate her 100th Birthday.Anna, right with husband, John, age 98, still enjoys riding in the couples’ Ford Mustang convertible and, until recently, was still able to enjoy a ride on their motorcycle.
