After a sometimes, somewhat heated public hearings concerning four ordinances increasing the Solid Waste Collection and Disposal (Sanitation), Sewage Works, Stormwater Utility, and Water Utility and Fire Hydrant Fee, the Alexandria City Council voted to table all four ordinances which would increase the average resident’s utility bill by 60%.
