Council closer to Façade Grant process and application procedures
After several months of delay, the Alexandria City Council met for a special session Monday evening to review a proposed process and application for recipients of the Façade Grant.Alexandria was awarded $150,000 in the spring as part of the Façade Grant program in Madison County.

Allen found guilty of murder in 2017 killings of Delphi teens
Richard Allen, 52, the man charged in the 2017 murders of Abigail Williams, 13, and Liberty German, 14, was found guilty Monday on two counts of murder and two counts of attempted kidnapping after a three-week trial in Carroll County.Journalists in the courtroom reported that Allen remained expressionless as the verdict was read, though his mother and his wife sobbed.
