Alexandria native who went missing in 2020 died by homicide, autopsy finds

Suzanne Morphew, the Alexandria native who went missing after going for a bike ride in Colorado in May of 2020 died by homicide, autopsy results show.According to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, her death has been ruled “Homicide by undetermined means in the setting of butorphanol, azaperone, and medetomidine intoxication.”According to the El Paso County Coroner, these drugs are marketed as injectable immobilizers for wildlife.

City announces receipt of qualifying bid for Washington Street project completion

Alexandria residents can expect to see contractors along Washington Street anytime as city officials announced a qualifying bid has been received for the completion of the project that has been in the works since discussions began during the Schmidt mayoral administration.Rachel Martin, executive assistant to Alexandria Mayor, Todd Naselroad, said the city received the INDOT (Indiana Department of Transportation) approval of a bid from Gradex, Inc.
