Alexandria businessman and resident, Nathan Hollingsworth, concluded the Monday evening City Council meeting with the following statement: “This is nothing personal, Todd Naselroad, I like you as a person, but, with all this being said and the lack of leadership within the city officials time and time again and their lack of knowledge which again has held up multiple project and costs people a lot of time and money, I think it is time for you, Todd, as a public servant, step down or resign from your current position.

After long summer months of the Washington Street closure through downtown, crews on the site say the project is on track to an on-time completion.The site foreman said citizens could see asphalt being poured as early as this week and he hopes to open it to traffic by Thanksgiving.
