INDIANAPOLIS- Announced is the list of Hoosier Basketball Magazine’s Top 60 senior girls’ basketball players for 2024-25 as compiled by Hoosier Basketball Magazine. These girls were selected from approximately 1,400 senior players statewide. Statistical evaluation, game observation and statewide research were conducted during the season and throughout the state tournament to determine Hoosier Basketball Magazine’s Top 60 seniors.

In a shocking turn of events, the Alexandria Tigers saw their season come to a heartbreaking end Friday night, falling 54-52 to the Madison-Grant Argylls in the sectional semifinals after surrendering a 22-point second-half lead.

The Alexandria Tigers wrapped up their regular season in front of a home crowd in The Jungle, recognizing senior basketball player Carson Hall, as well as senior cheerleaders, band members, and the beloved Tiger mascot before taking on the Taylor Titans.

Indianapolis – AMHS senior wrestler Ezra Fye etched his name into Alexandria-Monroe High School history on Friday night, becoming just the sixth Tiger wrestler to compete in the IHSAA State Finals. Fye joined an elite group of Alexandria legends, including Shawn Ponsler, Bruce McCormick, Luke Blanton, Nate Ryan, and Max Naselroad.

In a thrilling day of wrestling at the IHSAA Semi-State in New Castle, the Alexandria Tigers showcased both grit and determination, sending six competitors to the mat in pursuit of glory. The day began on a high note as Ezra Fye set the tone for the Tigers, securing a decisive tech fall over North Central’s Kenny Sellars. With a flawless display in neutral, Fye executed three takedowns in the first period, closing out the frame with an impressive 10-3 lead.
