The Commons Theatre will host a dinner fundraiser on Friday, September 12, and Saturday, September 13 to help the board of directors continue to raise money for theater updates.

ACSC seeks funding for Facility Dog
The Alexandria Monroe School Corporation is currently seeking funds to implement a facility dog to be shared between the elementary school and high school campuses.

Last week the Alexandria Community School Corporation honored those employees retiring from service at the end of the 2024-2025 school year at a dinner with family and friends. Those honored were: Linda Crume (14 years of service, Title 1 Interventionist), Linda Horn (28 years, teacher), Tamara DiRuzza (28 years, teacher), Cherylin Chafin (20 years, cafeteria), and Cynthia McFerran (18 years, teacher).
